Throughout my career I’ve been passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others. Whether this has been through my business providing specialist training, fundraising for various charities or helping with activities for young people.
I entered politics as I believe I can do more to ensure that our Country thrives.
I have valuable candidate experience, having stood in the 2019 and 2024 General Elections: participated in hustings, conducted media interviews and campaigned for local and national issues.
I am deeply committed to bringing positive change and progress through political engagement at all levels of our democracy.
Having started out in politics with the Brexit party, I joined Reform UK in 2025. I believe that only Reform UK is listening to British people and Reform UK is the only party that is determined to take the tough decisions and solve the problems that we face today.

Working for the local community is very important to me. That is why I strive to help individuals through my elected roles as a Rushcliffe Borough Councillor and Parish Councillor.
I am the only Reform UK councillor in Rushcliffe and am speaking up for local residents in my ward and across the Borough.
Council Tax for the next budget has been frozen - this is something I spoke up about and advocated for a long time ago - as Rushcliffe is well run, debt free with a good bank balance (a very different situation to the Labour run councils across Nottinghamshire!).
As a Councillor I have been involved in many key developments, policy adoptions and key decisions. For example ensuring the delivery of the Local Development Order (LDO) for the redevelopment of the Ratcliffe on Soar Freeport site so it can bring in jobs and investment, and the development of the Rushcliffe Design Guide to ensure new housing developments are well planned and in keeping with the local area.
I have also been actively involved with plans for growing the local economy by sitting on the Growth & Development Scrutiny Group, Licensing Committee, Local Development Framework Group, Community Scrutiny Group and supporting all councillors by Chairing the Member Development Group. Even though I have been removed from all groups since joining Reform UK, I will continue to speak up about key decisions and the direction of the council at full council meetings.

In my capacity as a geospatial specialist it means I can use specialist software for maps and databases.
This is a vital skill that forms the foundation of delivering a spatial plan at constituency, regional and national level. These skills mean that I am well placed to help deliver national and local initiatives around key policies to serve local communities.
Through my GIS (Geographic Information Systems) business I am proud that I’ve been able to provide high quality training to many individuals supporting a large number of UK businesses, local authorities and government departments. It is gratifying to know that I have had a hand in helping UK businesses harness geospatial technology so they can expand and grow.
In my energy business I am working with a large number of stakeholders including government departments to ensure that the UK is on the right track to achieving sustainable energy security for the UK.

I have been happily married for nearly 30 years and place a high value on family. I have 3 wonderful children and enjoy spending time with them whenever possible. In my free time I like to go walking, work in my garden and will have a go at most activities - including jumping out of an aeroplane!
